By carrying out regular cleaning routines it will pro-longthe life of your machine and reduce the chances of faults occuring. At Celtic Frozen Drinks we recommend a "quick clean" which we advise to do daily / weekly and a "deep clean" which is recommended to be carried out monthly (depending on your machine type). Please see below how each cleaning method is different and what should be carried out in each one. 

We advise that a deep clean on this machine is carried out every six-months minimum, or it can be carried out monthly (recommended). During this process we recommend a complete strip down of the machine followed by a thorough wash of each item, using hot-soapy water. Once this has been carried out, we like to tell customers to ensure each part has been dried well so it makes the re-assembling process easier. In addition, it is very important to re-grease your seals before fitting as this will prevent them from wearing down, therefore reducing faults on you machine.

This process will be the same as discussed above. However, due to the powder product being thicker than the syrup, it should be mandatory for the seals to be re-greased and reapplied monthly or fortnightly (recommended). Having said this, a full strip down and cleanse does not need to be done fortnightly, this can be carried out every six-months or monthly (recommended).

Our Caress machines are used for powdered products and do not contain seals. Having said this, we still strongly recommend that a deep clean is carried out monthly in order to prevent blockages and maintain a clean appearance in order to drive sales. For a deep cleanse of this machine, a complete strip down should take place where the bowls, black seal and augers are cleaned with hot-soapy water, followed by removing the condenser and using a brissel brush to remove any dust or particles. In addition, we like to tell customers to ensure each part has been dried (especially the black seal) well so it makes the re-assembling process easier.
